Let The Best Paintball Players Be Your Guide

By Ryan Gert

Paintball is a thrilling sport full of shooting, running, squatting, crawling, and more. It is an active sport that favors those who have fast reaction time, are quick, have good accuracy, and have good experience.

Getting out there and playing paintball games is the best way to get experience. Experience teaches you lessons, and molds you into a better paintball player. Experienced players are the ones who get the most eliminations, and often win games. Getting experience is an important step to becoming a better paintball player.

How can you accelerate your learning time and get better faster? Nothing can replace real experience, but there is a way that you can accelerate your skill level by modeling players who are at a higher skill level than you.

Mirror them and let them be your paintball guide. Take what works for them and use it for yourself. They have become good paintball players by making mistakes and playing a lot. Trial and error teaches us what doesn't work and what does.

Lots of experienced paintball players will give you paintball tactics without you even having to ask them. If you strike up a conversation with someone that is a good paintball player, the conversation might just lead to them giving you lots of paintball tactics.

Someone with experience has been in far more situations than you and has a better idea of what works and what doesn't. They have a better idea of when to move, where to move, how to move, when to shoot, where to shoot and how to win a paintball game.

Soak up everything you can from those that are better than you, and you will grow and become a better paintballer faster than if you relied on experience alone. Always strive to learn from those who are better than you.
