Wedding Castles - Have Your Wedding At A Destination

There are many wedding castles where you can enjoy a wedding ceremony or reception that is not to be missed. France contains many chateaux's that function as hotels and meeting and reception centers. You can have a full blown large wedding, small private wedding, civil ceremony or non-religious wedding at the many different castles in France.

An excellent choice due to its proximity to Paris and the international airport is Chateau de Montvillargenne. Besides your ceremony and reception you can also stay at this chateau as it also offers accommodation.

The Loire Valley has smaller castles for a more private and intimate wedding. Chateau des Briottieres has 10 rooms and can accommodate 20 people. The surrounding grounds are excellent for activities and hiking.

If you are interested in the beauty of Provencal then the Chateau de Montcaud in Avignon offers the Cevennes Mountains and countryside. Just a short distance from the Mediterranean, Chateau de Montcaus has everything you could desire from Southern France.

Scotland has many castles that offer beautiful grounds, scenery and surroundings. The castles themselves will have dining and accommodation options. Balfour castle is the found in the north of Scotland and has dramatic scenery as the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet just outside on the coast. What is described as a slice of heaven can be found on the Isle of Harris. Amhuinnsuidhe castle is this such place and offers wedding services.
